Free children’s audio books
As schools around the globe are closed or closing to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, Audible.com has made hundreds of children’s audiobooks available for free streaming. The collection is available in 6 different languages to help kids continue learning and exploring.

There’s no predetermined end date for this free resource. Audible has explained that they’re approaching this with a flexible outlook, stating that “as long as schools are closed, we’re open.
This free collection contains hundreds of stories for kids of all ages, including sections for toddlers, elementary-age kids, tweens, and teenagers. There’s even a plethora of classic novels that can be enjoyed by the whole family, such as Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, Jack London’s The Call of the Wild, and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
You can also find books read by some famous voices, including Scarlett Johansson’s narration of Alice in Wonderland and Rachel McAdams’ narration of Anne of Green Gables. Nope! Audible doesn’t require any type of registration to listen to this collection for as long as schools are closed. The Audible Stories FAQ page states that there are “No login, no payments, and no strings attached.”
