However, Amazon recently changed where you go to contact a customer service rep by chat. In the past, you would go to www.amazon.com\/contact-us\/ and simply tap a \u201cchat with us\u201d button. But now it is considerably more difficult to chat with a human customer service rep on Amazon. Amazon seems to prefer that you self-service your issue with a chat bot, and they made the real chat function very difficult to find. Not to worry, we\u2019ve figured out the most direct way to chat with a customer service rep at Amazon.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How to chat with a customer service rep at Amazon<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To chat with a human customer service rep follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p>1) Make sure you are logged into Amazon.com, if your issue involves a specific order it\u2019s best to have that order number on hand. You can find your order number and all past orders <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/css\/order-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"norewrite\">\n<p>2) Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/message-us?ref_=fs_hub_gateway_mu&amp;paradigm=foresight&amp;muClientName=foresight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Amazon Message Us<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>3) A chat window will open, type: \u201ccustomer service\u201d into the chat and send the message.
